From the South: From 95 N take the Delaware Ave. exit. Turn left at the last light and stay in the left lane. Stay to the left and take the Pennsylvania Ave. split. Follow Pennsylvania Ave. out toward Greenville. You will pass the U of D. Wilcastle Center on the left and you will go over Rt. 141. After crossing Rt. 141, you will go through two lights. Take the first left after the second light, entering the Powder Mill Square shopping area. Pass the row of shops on the left and right, continue to the back of the parking lot and our building is the one on the left. There is a short red brick wall in front of a flag pole with the New Castle County Police spelled out. You will be facing the front door.
From the South: Take Rt. 1 North to 95 North. 95N to Martin Luther King Blvd./Maryland Ave., exit (Exit 6). Turn right off of exit ramp onto Maryland Ave. Turn right at traffic light onto Martin Luther King Blvd. Stay on Martin Luther King Blvd. (Follow signs for North Center City). You will go through four traffic lights. Continue following Martin Luther King Blvd., around bend onto Walnut Street (13 North). Stay on Walnut Street and make right onto 11th Street. Elwyn Building is the first building on the left.

From the South: Follow Rt. 13 North. This will take you near the Wilmington Train Station. You will then go straight down Walnut Street. Go to 8th and Walnut and make a left. Go up two blocks to King Street and make a left turn. The New Castle County Family Court building is on the left one block at 9th and King Streets.
DELAWARE YOUTH AND FAMILY CENTER
From the South:
Take Rt. 1 North to I-95 North to Rt. 141 North.
Approaching the residential area there is a shopping
center and Exxon Station on the left. At that traffic
light, turn left onto Faulkland Road. Take the next
right (traffic light) onto the campus. Parking is in the
back of the building. The Division of Family Services is
in Building #2.
From the North: Take I-95
South to Rt. 141 North. On Rt 141 North there is a
residential area with a shopping center and Exxon
Station on the left. At that traffic light, turn left
onto Faulkland Road. Take the next right (traffic light)
onto the campus. Parking is in the back of the building.
The Division of Family Services is in Building #2.
From 202 - Concord Pike: Take
Rt. 141 South. Cross Rt. 48-Lancaster Ave.and at the
second traffic light turn right onto the campus. Parking
is in the back of the building. The Division of Family
Services is in Building #2.
From the city of Wilmington:
Take Pennsylvania North to Rt. 141 South. As one crosses
Rt. 48-Lancaster Ave., at the second traffic light, turn
right onto the campus. Parking is in the back of the
building. The Division of Family Services is in Building
#2.
From the South:
Follow Rt. 13 and Rt. 1 until you see the exit for Rt.
273. Exit at Rt. 273. At the light turn left. Go past
the shopping center on your left and turn left onto
Chapman Road. Go to the light and turn left. The office
is in the building with the #263 on it. It is also
called the Cambridge Building.
From I-95: Take Exit #3, Rt.
#273 South to the first traffic light and turn right.
Next turn left into the University Office Plaza. The DFS
building is the second from the right.
From the South: Take I-95 to Exit 141 North (Newport Exit). Continue on Rt. 141 North (about 3 miles from interchange). Turn right onto Rt. 48 (Lancaster Pike), at intersection of Rt. 141 and Rt. 48. At next traffic signal, turn into the Barley Mill Office Complex. Proceed up drive in the left lane. Follow around circle, counter-clockwise, following the building number signs to "Building #18".
NEW CASTLE COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT
From the South: Take Rt. 13 North. Pass the following: New Castle County airport on the left, Wilmington College on the right, Holloway Campus and DHSS on left, police station is approximately one mile after the Holloway Campus on the left side. Turn left at the second traffic light into the police station parking lot. Enter the main door of the police station, which is around back and check in at the reception desk to gain access to the DFS office.
SILVERLAKE PROFESSIONAL PLAZA - BARRETT BUILDING
From the North:
Take South I-95 to Rt. 1 South then take Rt. 13 South
towards Dover. At the Smyrna split, you can either take
Rt. 1 South towards Dover/Milford (toll road) or you can
bare to the right and continue on Rt. 13 South towards
Dover. Continue on Rt. 13 South until you get to the
Delaware Agriculture Museum on the right. You will then
bare to the right onto N. Division Street before the
traffic light. At the second traffic light make a right
turn onto Walker Road. At the first traffic light you
will make a right turn into the Silver Lake Professional
Plaza. The Office of Children’s Services will be in the
Barrett Building on the second floor. This building is
the second building on the rights.
From Rt. 1 to Dover: Take the
Rt. 8, West Dover exit. Pay toll and then make a left
turn at the traffic light on to Rt. 13 South. Then
follow Rt. 13 South towards Dover. Continue on Rt. 13
South until you get to the Delaware Agriculture Museum
on the right. You will then bare to the right onto W.

traffic light make a right turn onto Walker Road. At the
first traffic light you will make a right turn into the

From the South, Traveling Rt. 113:
Take Rt. 113 North towards Dover-Wilmington. Continue on
Rt. 113 until you get to Rt. 1. Take Rt. 1 North and
then exit at the last exit before the toll. This exit is
Rt. 10 Camden, Wyoming, Dover Air Force Base. Stay on
Rt. 113. Continue on Rt. 113 towards Dover. Make a left
turn onto W. Division Street. At the second traffic
light make a right turn onto State Street. Follow State
Street until the first traffic light and make a left
turn onto Walker Road. Continue on Walker Road until the
first traffic light. You will make a right turn into the
Silver Lake Professional Plaza. The Office of Children
Services will be in the Barrett Building on the second
floor. This building is the second building on the
rights.
From the South, Traveling Rt. 13:
Take Rt. 13 towards Dover-Wilmington. Continue on Rt.
113 towards Dover. In Dover, make a left turn onto W.
Division Street. At the second traffic light on Division
Street, make a right turn onto N. State Street. Follow
N. State Street until the first traffic light and make a
left turn onto Walker Road. Continue on Walker Road
until the first traffic light. You will make a right
turn into the Silver Lake Professional Plaza. The Office
of Children Services will be in the Barrett Building on
the second floor. This building is the second building
on the right.
KENT COUNTY FAMILY COURT BUILDING
From the North:
Take South I-95 to Rt. 1 South then take Rt. 13 South
towards Dover. At the Smyrna split, you can either take
Rt. 1 South towards Dover/Milford (toll road) or you can
bare to the right and continue on Rt. 13 South towards
Dover. Continue on Rt. 13 until you get to Court Street
and make a right. Then make the second left turn onto
River Road. The Family Court building is to the right
and the parking lot to the left. There is additional
parking in the rear of the building.
Rt. 1 South to Dover: Take the
Rt. 8, West Dover exit. Pay toll and then make a left
turn at the traffic light on to Rt. 13. Then follow Rt.
13 South towards Dover and then make a right turn onto
Court Street. Then travel to the second left and turn
left onto River Road. The Family Court parking is to the
left of the building. There is also parking in the rear
of the building. The Family Court Building is located on
the corner of Court Street and River Road.
From the South traveling Rt. 113:
Take Rt. 113 North towards Dover-Wilmington. Continue on
Rt. 113 until you get to Rt. 1. Take Rt. 1 North and
then exit at the last exit before the toll. This exit is
Rt. 10 Camden, Wyoming, Dover Air Force Base. Stay on
Rt. 113. Continue on Rt. 113 towards Dover until you see
signs for Court Street. Make a left turn following the
signs for Court Street at the traffic light. Continue on
Court Street until you get to River Road. Make a left
onto River Road, the Family Court Building is located to
the right and the parking lot to the left. Additional
parking is available in the rear of the court building.
From the South Traveling Rt. 13:
Take Rt. 13 North towards Dover and Wilmington. Continue
on Rt. 13 North until you get to Dover. Make a left at
the traffic light onto Court Street. Take the second
left onto River Road. The Family Court building will be
on the right and the parking lot to the left. Additional
parking is located in rear of the court building.
JAMES WILLIAMS STATE SERVICE CENTER
From the North:
Take South I-95 to Rt. 1 South then take Rt. 13 South
towards Dover. At the Smyrna split, you can either take
Rt. 1 South towards Dover/Milford (toll road) or you can
bare to the right and continue on Rt. 13 South towards
Dover. Continue on Rt. 13 past the WAWA (on right), make
a right past Dunkin Donut, take first left into Thomas
Collins parking lot. James Williams is second building
on left.
Rt. 1 South to Dover: Take the
Rt. 8, West Dover exit. Pay toll and then make a left
turn at the traffic light on to Rt. 13. Then follow Rt.
13 South towards Dover. Continue on Rt. 13 past the WAWA

left lane and make a left onto Rt. 13 South. Get in
right lane and make a right turn past Dunkin Donuts,
take first left into Thomas Collins parking lot. James
Williams State Service Center is second building on
left.
From the South Traveling Rt. 13:
Take Rt. 13 North towards Dover and Wilmington. Continue
on Rt. 13 North until you get to Dover. Pass the
McDonald on the right, make a left at the Wilmington
Trust Bank (bank is on the right). James Williams State
Service Center is on the right. Make first right and go
around rear for parking.
From Dover: Follow Rt. 113 South from Dover. Turn left at the traffic light past the Milford Shopping Plaza. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Church Street. One-story building on the right, just before the canal bridge.
GEORGETOWN STATE SERVICE CENTER
From Dover: Follow Rt. 113 South through Milford to Georgetown. At the 4th traffic light in Georgetown, where Rt. 113 intersects C.R. #431, turn left (marked by green state office sign). First building on left, enter at covered entrance, and DFS office on the 2nd Floor.
EDWARD W. PYLE STATE SERVICE CENTER (FROM GEORGETOWN)
From the North: Follow Rt. 113 South past Millsboro. Turn left at the traffic light on Rt. #20 East through Dagsboro. Go straight through the Dagsboro traffic light and take the next left (Rt. #26 East). Take the right at the first traffic light, onto Rt. #20 East. Go straight through the blinking light/4-way stop at Omar. Pyle Center is on the right about a mile.
ANNA C. SHIPLEY STATE SERVICE CENTER
From the North: Take Rt. 13 from Dover. North of Seaford (next town after Bridgeville), take Alt. Rt. 13 to the right. Turn right on Virginia Ave., and Shipley is on the right.
From the North: Follow Rt. 113 South through Milford to Georgetown. At the second traffic light in Georgetown, where Rt. 113 intersects Rt. 9, turn left (Rt. 9 East) and follow to circle. Sussex County Family Court is the building on the left once you reach the stoplight.
